Meet the Team

It takes an incredible amount of courage to take the first step in your therapy journey, our therapists are ready to schedule your first session so that you don’t have to wait any longer. The entire Collaborative therapy team is committed to creating a welcoming space for you. We wanted to take a moment to introduce our team.

Linda Stewart, LMFT #102192

Linda founded the Collaborative Therapy Center during the pandemic, and currently serves as its Director. She is a Licensed Marriage & Family therapist (LMFT), speaker, writer, and professor of Human Sexuality.

She created the Center with the desire to provide therapy for the Carlsbad and North County coastal communities, resources and support for local churches, and training for therapists working towards their licensure. She was intentional in selecting “Collaborative” as the name, as she wants to promote therapeutic collaboration with other helping professionals in order to bring holistic care to clients.

Linda is a longstanding therapist who specializes in sexual issues and therapy for couples and women. She understands the importance of community when it comes to growth and healing. Linda established this center to better serve those in the greater Carlsbad area, which she is proud to call home.
